The Internet is a great place for learning, but it's important for parents and children to observe some simple rules for safety. While Jimmysdog.com adheres to strict safety guidelines for childrens' use of the Internet, it does not control access to or content on other websites. Always be careful to visit only trusted sites.

Parents - Be aware that childrens' Internet activity should always be monitored.

Mr. Goddard's classroom Internet policy:

Parents - Looking for more information on keeping your children's Internet experience safe and beneficial? Look to the Internet itself for useful articles, tools and products designed to help you safeguard your children while they surf, learn and play. Parental controls are available from many ISPs and COSs (commercial on-line service providers), such as AOL, MSN or Earthlink, as examples. Some browsers and operating systems are also configurable for higher security. As always though, the most important weapon in your on-line safety arsenal is parental involvement.

Childrens' Internet activity will be thoroughly supervised at all times. Students will only be permitted use of the classroom, Internet-capable computers individually or in small groups and in full view of the teacher.
